Our school is a welcoming, happy place where all pupils are well-known, respected and listened to. It is important to us that families feel part of the school community, can share their views and are recognised as key partners in their child’s education.

Our aim for all our pupils is to develop a lifelong enthusiasm for learning and an enquiring mind that is open to new experiences, goal setting and ambitions for their future.

If you would like to find out about any aspect of our work in more detail then please get in touch.

Baha’s Story

It all started in 2013 with a rainbow and then there was a pedal-powered cinema, a giant gorilla made of spoons, a meeting with Uri Geller and royalty and a block of joy…

In 2013 our Eco Officers were awarded a certificate in recognition of the good work they had promoted around recycling and composting. When they came back from an awards ceremony we were inspired and we realised we could do A LOT MORE and make links beyond Ellesmere Port.

Denis Agaba from the Great Ape Film Initiative came to our school from Uganda and told us about the plight of the Great Apes. He set us up with a Ugandan partner school to be pen pals with and we’ve been working together ever since to raise money and awareness!

There is still more to do and that is why we are proud to continue our link. Our current goal is to continue to raise money which we can send towards planting more trees and installing more drip tanks.

Good work is being done because we are working together to make a difference.
