Keeping Children Safe

If you are concerned about the safety or well-being of a child or you find that you and your family need support you are always welcome to make contact with a member of school staff.

Support can also be accessed by contacting Cheshire West and Cheshire's Integrated Access and Referral Team. You can reach them on:

The Starting Well website has lots of information about health and wellbeing and you can also find guides for extra support.

The Local Offer also provides signposting to other helpful organisations.

Our school is part of Operation Encompass. This means that following a domestic abuse incident, the Police make contact with the school and communicate relevant information to nominated school staff, to ensure that the school are made aware early enough to support children and young people in a way that means they feel safe and included. See letter below for more details.

Our children now that they can ring Childline on 0800 11 11 or access the website for information and support.

Winston's Wish supports children who are bereaved or have experienced a critical incident.

Child Bereavement UK supports children, please take a look at their website.

BullyingUK provides advice and resources to help people who have been bullied.

Parentline Family Support provides a free and confidential helpline for support if you are struggling with any aspect of being a parent. Their website states: "Family Lives offers a confidential and free* helpline service (previously known as Parentline). Please call us on 0808 800 2222 for information, advice, guidance and support on any aspect of parenting and family life, including bullying. Our helpline service is open 9am – 9pm, Monday to Friday and 10am – 3pm Saturday and Sunday. We currently answer 58% of all callers ringing.  If you don’t get answered first time please do try again. We will only break confidentiality if there is a life threatening situation, or a child or adult is felt to be at risk of significant harm."
